About Us

MonroeMarijuana.clinic — Louisiana Medical Marijuana for Monroe

Built for Monroe

Monroe is the seat of Ouachita Parish and the commercial and cultural hub of northeast Louisiana — a community of approximately 48,000 residents along the Ouachita River, home to the University of Louisiana Monroe, the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens, and the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. MonroeMarijuana.clinic is an online directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting Monroe residents with authorized Louisiana clinicians for therapeutic marijuana recommendations under La. R.S. 40:1046.

We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy. We connect patients with qualified authorized Louisiana clinicians and explain Louisiana's streamlined therapeutic marijuana process — from Downtown Monroe and Forsythe to Swartz, West Monroe, and every Ouachita Parish neighborhood.

How We Operate

Authorized Louisiana Clinicians

Every clinician on our platform is authorized under La. R.S. 40:1046 to issue therapeutic marijuana recommendations — physicians (MD/DO) and nurse practitioners (NP/APRN) licensed by the State of Louisiana.

HIPAA Protected

All telehealth appointments are conducted on HIPAA-compliant platforms. Monroe patients' health information is handled with complete confidentiality throughout the process.

La. R.S. 40:1046 Compliant

Every recommendation follows the requirements of Louisiana's therapeutic marijuana statute. The clinician sends the recommendation directly to your chosen licensed retailer — no state card, no state fee, no state portal required of Monroe patients.

How Louisiana's Program Works

Louisiana's Therapeutic (Medical) Marijuana Program, administered by the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) under La. R.S. 40:1046, is one of the most patient-friendly in the country. A Monroe patient books a real-time video visit with an authorized Louisiana clinician through this platform. The clinician reviews the patient's condition and, if in their sincere professional judgment therapeutic marijuana may be helpful, issues a written recommendation. The recommendation goes directly from the clinician to the licensed retailer of the patient's choice. The patient then visits the retailer with a valid Louisiana ID and purchases. There is no state card to apply for, no state registration fee, and no state portal to navigate. Recommendations are valid for up to one year. Louisiana law permits up to 71 grams of marijuana flower per 14-day period plus other approved product forms.

Louisiana's Open Qualifying Standard

Louisiana does not restrict access to a fixed list of qualifying conditions. Under La. R.S. 40:1046, any authorized Louisiana clinician may issue a recommendation if, in their sincere professional judgment, therapeutic marijuana may be helpful to the patient's condition or symptoms. Monroe patients with virtually any chronic, recurring, or debilitating condition may qualify based on their clinician's individual clinical assessment.

How This Platform Is Funded

MonroeMarijuana.clinic is an advertising platform. Authorized Louisiana clinicians pay for patient connection and marketing services. Those commercial relationships are disclosed in our Advertising Disclosure and play no role in any clinician's clinical decisions. Questions? Use the contact form on our Terms & Policies page.
